Who doesn't love Margarita's? When I was on vacation last month I went to a little Mexican Restaurant because it was mt birthday and I was craving a margarita and some chips. And I usually am pretty spoiled, so there we were sitting at the bar looking at the menu. And I saw Pineapple Cilantro Margarita and it sounded so interesting and delicious I didn't even think twice when ordering it. And GIRL it was incredible, by far my favorite margarita flavor ever! I knew I needed it in my life more often. And unless you don't like Cilantro or Pineapple or Tequila, there isn't a reason you shouldn't fall in love this beautiful mixture of love and heaven. And it only takes a few minutes to make! (Before you wonder why my glasses are only half full, isn't because I forgot ice) :)
Here is everything you'll need for one margarita:
-1.5 oz tequila
- 1/4 cup of fresh pineapple
- 1 tablespoon cilantro
-.5 oz Agave Nectar
- 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
-Juice squeezy thing
I like using all fresh ingredients because it just makes everything more flavorful. Okay let's get going so you can get your world rocked.
Step one: Turn on your favorite music and dance around for a few minutes.
Step two: In the shaker add the pineapple, cilantro and the tequila.
Step three: Muddle the ingredients to break them down.
Step four: Pour in the agave, pineapple, lime juice and a small handful of ice.
Step five: Put the lid on the shaker and shake, shake, shake. Shake for a few minutes.
Step six: Strain into your glass and garnish with pineapple, lime or cilantro.
Yeah, Seriously! That's all it is, so basically you're a pro now. ENJOY!
No matter what the reason is that you need to unwind, we've all been there and this is the perfect way to end any day. I can't wait or you to try!
Have a cocktail that you think I'd love to try? Send it over!
Do you love juice too? I got a juicer this year and I don't know where it's been my whole life! There are so many different juices you and make and for different health reasons. Energy, Immune, weight loss, sleep, and cleansing. I've creating my own juice cleanse and I love it! It's important to flush your body from toxins every once in a while.
Day one is a Green Juice to get some vitamins and antioxidants in your body.
Day two is a Colon Detox:
Day three is Liver and Kidney Detox:
Day four is Red Detox:
Day five is a Immune Booster:
You'll have a 8 oz juice every 2 or 3 hours as your hunger strikes. If you still need an extra something in your belly try, nuts, an avocado or a banana. You'll feel great and have more energy! I like to repeat every 3-4 months so my body is able to preform at it's best and I can avoid getting sick as much as possible.
I have attached a copy of my print out!
How many times do a day do we pin meals that we're never going to cook? I know I do it all the time, but hey if I ever decide to make a fabulous meal I have hundreds of recipes I would love to try! I've tried some in the past and for the most part I've had great success. I knew I was short on time this week with meetings and doctor's appointments so I didn't want to make a meal that was going to take a long time! I decided to make some pizza quesadillas because honestly who doesn't love pizza AND quesadillas? Why not combined them? I knew Tyler would be all for it. It's a meal that took me less then 10 minutes to make and only cost $10. So lets get started!
Pizza sauce, I used what I had in the refrigerator but next time I'm going to make my own.
Shredded Mozzarella cheese
Pizza Toppings of your choice
Get a small pan, and spray it with cooking spray, butter or coconut oil.
Lay a tortilla down, add sauce cheese, toppings, more cheese and then close the quesadilla with another tortilla!
Cook on one side until the cheese melts and and then flip.
Cut and enjoy!
I hope you enjoy it and I think your kids will love it too!
You can sneak some veggies in because they won't be able to see it!
I've seen homemade butter online before, but I always thought that it must be so hard. And then I never really looked much into it after that! Until my boyfriend came across a blog that said it was better then any store bought butter and told me it looked pretty easy. So I looked into it, and found out that it was only 2 ingredients! WHAT!! That was actually really shocking to me, I assumed there were at least a couple of more. So here's how I did it:
1 1/2 cups of heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Strainer or mesh colander
Pour the heavy whipping cream into the mixer and turn on high. Stay on this step for a few minutes until it begins to clump up kind of like cookie dough!
Once the buttermilk and the clumps begin to separate, turn your mixer off.
Put the clumps into the cheese cloth
Step four: Pour the buttermilk through the strainer, or cheese cloth again to get all of the clumps out
Step five: Wring out the clumps in the cheese cloth as much as possible
Step six: Rinse the ball of butter in a bath of cold water. (You may need to repeat this step 2-4 times, until the water is clear)
Step seven: Sprinkle the salt over the butter and mix it in.
Step eight: Roll into a log and serve when you're ready to eat!
